Your post however has inspired me to rethink what I really need to keep and what I should be buying in future (when I'm allowed to again!).

I've decided there is an appropriate level to breaking in shoes, a little blistering is normal - obscene pain is not! I refuse to buy shoes that don't automatically seem like they would be broken in on the fist day. You also end up with less shoes this way because you become more picky. I find I have slowly stopped buying cheap uncomfortable shoes and a little more expensive, but supportive ones.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9316590.post-26101805048347482762009-11-03T22:34:06.421-08:002009-11-03T22:34:06.421-08:00wow- I totally hear you. I adore shoes, and I am tempted to take a photo grid of my shoes, but I'm not sure I have a floor space mammoth enough... maybe if I move all my furniture from my great room...dawnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16878574394882164622noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9316590.post-45718734181198225692009-11-03T20:27:28.076-08:002009-11-03T20:27:28.076-08:00Wow, friend, you do have guts to post the shoes on...Wow, friend, you do have guts to post the shoes on here. I am trying to remember what you were wearing on your feet when you visited in August...but I can't. I should probably go through my shoes and do this too. One pair I feel torn about is the shoes I wore for my wedding - silver Indian slippers - NOT comfortable. But I feel like b/c they're the wedding shoes I have to keep them. But I don't want to. I tossed a good 10 pairs of shoes/sandals/boots. I wish I'd read this post first so I would have made a grid and taken a picture:)

As far as blisters, I'm in the same boat. Every pair of shoes gives me horrible blisters at first, but I've started just pushing through that and after the first few painful weeks, they do go away. Although the scars on my feet don't seem to.Alyssahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10195157153785874662noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9316590.post-81736712864283235172009-11-03T12:08:33.229-08:002009-11-03T12:08:33.229-08:00LOVE IT!
