I LOVE this idea! It's looking so pretty. I'm curious though, do you know what size the tins are? I have a few circle punches and I'm thinking if I steal your idea I'd much rather punch out all those circles!!
i bought tins in 4-packs that are for making candles. they're a bit larger than little favour tins...about 2 in. in diameter? but if you look in the wedding section at michaels, there are a variety of little containers that you could use thta might fit your punch. a punch would make it WAY faster! :)
I was thinking that you should just buy some foam core at michaels to glue these round containers on.. its really firm but wouldn't be as heavy as plywood..
