These glass, well they are not particularly ugly, however their use is highly limited. I can see Tim's point, they might have been a great price, but really the only acceptable time to use these is Christmas and only at your Christmas soiree where you serve a lot of wine and late in the evening Lana Jones notes how they look like candy canes with lights inside and then laughs a lot.
If they were really cheap then keep them, but if you could return them to winners (I am pretty sure you bought them there) and get a cute shirt instead, I would go with that.
Hope that didn't offend you.

Hmmmm. Nice candle holders, er I mean what are these things... I mean why am I commenting on these?

Yeah... I'm going through a red phase right now, where I'm super attracted to anything red... and yet, these don't really do anything for me. But maybe you need to see them lit up with candles inside... they are definitely Christmas-y

Ok, for starters - Bec, good job calling out the "lurkers" - and I agree that Lavonne definitely deserves an award for her stellar comment. I also love that TIM has commented!!!! YAY TIM! HI TIM!!! Is that the first time he has commented?

Who knew such simple items would elicit such a rash of comments?

In my opinion - take 'em back. Unless they were a gift from a student, then I would say re-gift...at a white elephant party this season! Ha.

I should note that the following comment came from Jonny:
"They're nice - useless, but nice."
I think they'd be pretty with the candlelight shining through, however, yes, I think they'd only be suitable at Christmas time. Acually when i saw them, something reminded me of a carnival...I don't know...enjoy them, until Dec. 26th and then put them away until next year

hmmm... really want the truth, huh? Take them back... :D -- but ya know, pictures never do anything justice!!

I actually don't hate them!! I too would only bring them out for Christmas, but i LOVE things I only bring out at Christmas.

....i think i'd keep them.
