i have always cut the centre stem out of a pepper then cut it open down the side to pull out the remaining seeds.but then at my tupperware party, the tupperware lady just cut off all the sides of the pepper with no finicky knife stabbing the top.
i feel like, why is anyone cutting their peppers the first way? why didn't i think of this myself? then the thought occurred to me...maybe everyone IS cutting their peppers this new way. what have you been doing? and can you be converted?

I slice the top and bottom off, then cut out the stem, then cut it open. It's the James method and he converted me early in our relationship. I used to have no method at all before him.
I cut them the way in the last pic. I like it.
I can't say that I have a specific 'method' per se, but I usually start slicing and then cut out the core about half way through. This includes deliberately cutting some slices right next to where the white stuff runs down the length of the pepper so I can cut that out in one slice as well.
i cut out the top and then the same as you do bec, it's the normal way.
