ever since i found
this recipe, i've been using chick peas at least once a week. it seems to be an acceptable protein to tim so that means that i don't get around to thawing out meat for dinner, i throw a can of chick peas into the spaghetti sauce or whatever and it's still filling. so easy.
and lately, my go-to lunch on the go is throwing an egg in the microwave for a minute, toasting an english muffin and slicing up some cheese. egg mcmuffin. yum.
i'm all about no time meals. but maybe tomorrow i'll remember to thaw something out.
