another revelation:
i mentioned to my brother that whenever i buy almonds in bulk, they're stale.
he told me that they're raw...not stale. and if i want them to crunch, i should toast them.
how could i not have figured that out?
tonight i ate crunchy almonds.

i thought that too! i took almonds the other night to work with some overpriced fair trade chocolate and felt like i had to apologize for the stale almonds...dang. now i know, thanks matt. and bec.
